A Feel Better Poem was originally written in 2014 when I was on 1:1 observations on a PICU.  It had been a bad day on the ward and I wrote the poem with one of the Nurses in the dining room after tea.  She wrote one line and I wrote the next. I wrote poems like this with many of the staff at that time however the rest were either returned to the staff member or placed in the confidential waste box before I left as I didn’t have permission to share them.  I did get permission to ‘do whatever I wanted’ with A Feel Better Poem and after my discharge I illustrated it to create this YouTube Video:
