Hope Submissions

This is the month for sending in art work and writing on the theme of hope for this Autumn’s Hope Anthology’. I’ve seen one great piece of art work and heard some great suggestions for writing about what helps us to dive in and try new things, what keeps us going when times are hard and those moments in an ordinary day that can suddenly remind us of what we hope for.

I’m really excited about sharing as many different takes as I can. If you’re wondering if it’s worth submitting your work remember that your unique way of describing it could be exactly what someone picking up the book needs to help them keep going.

If you are still searching for a jumping off point then help is at hand. Over the next few weeks I will be posting a series of creating prompts to help you get started. Look out for the first one tomorrow.

There are no restrictions on who can have their work included in the anthology so if your children wish to submit art and writing on this theme that’s great.

If you are working on things to submit I’d love to hear about it. Drop me a comment! Practical details on how to submit your work are at https://hilarycoveney.com/anthology-of-hope

Please let me know if you have any problems and happy creating!
